Abbie is still playing the flute. The band marches each spring in a few local parades. The first fun of the season is always the Hazel Dell Parade. Last year we took Amara with us, so we continued the tradition this year… she always loves spending the day with cousin James, her Abbie, Auntie & Uncle!

We found a much cleaner place to sit and enjoy the parade from this year!

The weather report called for a warmish day… we didn’t take into account there would be a cool breeze…

Plastic bags ready, just waiting for the little candies to fly! The best part of every parade is the candy. Even the adults love it, just ask Josh!

After about an hour, Amara decided the parade was boring and she was ready to go…

then these pirates came by and gave the kids these telescopes, and all was right with the world!
